Download them to C:\ado\personal if you want to use them. profile.do is downloaded to the same folder as the datasets and other do-files; from here you should copy it to C:\ado\personal if you want to make it work. You should read through profile.do to see if you want to use it as is or if you want to modify it for your particular Stata and computer configuration.

The ado-files are typically downloaded to C:\ado\plus.
