The line tempname dmu dlnsigma should be removed the programs my_normal_lf1, mynormal_lf2, and mynormal_nohet_lf2. The line is superfluous.

Other alternatives include creating a Mata .mo file (see [M-3] mata mosave) and including the Mata code in the ado-file (see [M-1] ado), which is most practical if you are creating an ado-file, as described in chapter 13.
